Front cover analysis
The front cover of the newspaper features the content of the newspaper and also featured articles. We can see that the main focus in this particular newspaper is the article about the man on page 8. The image attracts readers to look at it and question what is happening to the man. This then motivates the reader to buy and read the magazine to find out why.
There are also some known people on the top and people who recognise their faces might choose to buy the newspaper to find out why they have been featured in one of the articles. The masthead uses a block and solid font which indicates that the newspaper is a serious newspaper. The bottom of the newspaper also features some more articles, so essentially the whole front page of the newspaper is filled with the content of the newspaper which informs the readers of what to expect to find in the newspaper. However this could also attract readers to buy and read the newspaper and they might like the articles featured. |
